Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its first Wyndham Grand-branded hotel in Malaysia, as reported by HospitalityNet.
Previously known as Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar, the hotel has been transformed into Wyndham Grand Bangsar Kuala Lumpur.
It joins the hotel group’s over 70 existing locations worldwide and is the Group’s 9th Wyndham Grand hotel in Asia Pacific region.
The property’s grand opening was attended by Alyas Roy Haji Amir, the state director of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.
Located in the centre of the Bangsar district of Kuala Lumpur, the hotel now features 513 rooms, including more than 200 twin rooms, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
The hotel follows the hotel group’s ‘Count on Me’ service concept.
It has 12 versatile meeting rooms and hosts both corporate as well as social gatherings at its Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 2,000 guests.
Guests can dine at the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, which serves a breakfast buffet as well as a range of international dishes.
Mercato, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, offers an intimate setting with a capacity to accommodate up to 60 guests.
The hotel’s Pearls Cuisine is a Chinese restaurant that seats 200 guests and provides private dining venues for up to 30 guests.
Meanwhile, Petit Café, the hotel’s lobby eatery, offers quick bites along with the option to place a to-go order.
Among the other amenities to be provided at the property include a spa, a gym, an executive lounge, free Wi-fi and onsite parking options.
Guests at the property also have access to visit nearby locations such as Twin Towers, Menara Telekom, Mid Valley Megamall and KLCC Park.
