Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has extended its agreement with Sabre Hospitality, confirming the technology provider as its exclusive global central reservation system provider.
This partnership, which has been in place for almost 20 years, will continue to leverage Sabre's SynXis central reservation system (CRS) to streamline Wyndham's operations.
The SynXis CRS platform is a hospitality commerce and distribution solution that assists hoteliers in achieving their strategic objectives.
According to the technology vendor, the tool offers streamlined distribution, centralised control, and increased flexibility.
Wyndham will have continued access to pricing and inventory management, global distribution connectivity, and integration with the Wyndham Rewards programme.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts chief commercial officer Scott Strickland said: “Our collaboration with Sabre Hospitality has been instrumental in our ability to offer superior technology solutions to our franchisees and hotel operators.
“The SynXis platform has consistently provided the stability and flexibility we need to enhance our operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. We look forward to many more years of success together.”
Sabre Hospitality's global managing director and enterprise sales senior vice president Gene Guhne said: “This agreement is a testament to the strength and reliability of the SynXis platform.
“We are dedicated to supporting Wyndham's strategy by delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of their global portfolio.”
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts currently operates more than 9,100 hotels across 95 countries under 25 different brands.
Earlier this year, Sabre migrated more than 5,000 Wyndham properties to the SynXis Property Hub.
This transition included moving 550 hotels in one month and was completed around a year before schedule.
