The newly opened Trademark Collection Istanbul New Airport Hotel adds to Wyndham’s portfolio of 95 open and operational hotels and more than 20 under development in Turkey.

The 68-room hotel is located in the Arnavutkoy district, 12km from Istanbul airport, and features an on-site restaurant, business centre and concierge service. The rooms’ amenities are available in standard, deluxe and suite configurations.

Wyndham’s country director of Turkey Murat Özel commented: "There is a tremendous opportunity for midscale and upscale hotels in Turkey. This new opening in Istanbul, one of the world's most popular cities, reinforces the brand's global footprint and our commitment to our continued expansion in the country."

Since the launch of the Wyndham Trademark Collection in 2017, the brand now has more than 185 hotels in destinations including New York, Berlin, Budapest and Brussels. It is geared towards three and four-star hotel owners.

The organisation's hotels around the world participate in Wyndham Rewards, its hotel loyalty programme, which offers 101 million enrolled members the opportunity to redeem points at thousands of hotels, vacation club resorts and vacation rentals.

While the hospitality group’s continued hotel openings are a positive sign, it was announced on 12 June 2023 that shares of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts experienced a decline of 0.7% as its chief accounting officer, Nicola Rossi, sold 8,000 shares of the company’s stock.
