Swisscom Hospitality Services has announced the hiring of two seasoned hospitality professionals for its business in the Americas: Patrick Lewis joins as a Director of Solutions Architecture while Greg Wutzke comes on board as a Director of Business Development. Both of them will be key in driving Swisscom’s continued growth as the hospitality industry’s preferred global partner for the delivery of mission-critical networks.
The development of the Americas team and capabilities continues
Patrick Lewis is taking the lead of Swisscom’s solutions architecture and sales engineering group in the Americas. He has extensive hospitality networking and applications experience as well as CISCO qualifications and many years of applicable experience working in similar network design management and operational roles for, among others, Lorica Solutions and XETA Technologies.
Greg Wutzke brings with him 12 years of experience building customer relationships and providing HSIA, video, and converged network solutions and support to national accounts for a major hospitality solution provider. He is part of an expanding organisation that will be working hand in hand with Swisscom’s account management team in the US, which is comprised of 20 account managers country-wide.
The new hires underline Swisscom’s determination to step up its presence and capabilities in the Americas. "We have recently made great strides in network convergence and service management in our European business, where we are proud to serve key clients such as Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Hyatt with our advanced network solutions," says Mark Holzberg, VP The Americas and Global Managed Services for Swisscom Hospitality.
"It is now time for us to deliver the same level of leadership in the Americas and to be ready to scale our business here and globally. The industry is calling for a reliable partner that can build, operate and maintain complex networks and support ever-increasing guest requirements; this is what Swisscom is here for, and this is why we will keep investing in and building our workforce," he added.
Greg Wutzke will be based in Chicago and Patrick Lewis will be based in New Orleans and the company’s North American headquarters in the Washington, DC area.
