The new range of Gira data and communication connection technology offers interfaces for all common applications in the areas of multimedia and networks. They can be installed quickly and match the Gira switch ranges.
Regardless of whether realising a multimedia entertainment package for a private home or reliable data transfer in commercial buildings, networking complex systems can be complicated. Unattractive clutter is often the result. That’s why the new Gira product range for data connection technology offers more than 70 components with digital and analogue interfaces for any system. It also matches the design of the entire electrical installation in the building.
All sound systems can be connected perfectly using the audio connections of Gira data connection technology. Available connections include Cinch, XLR, BNC and loudspeaker cable connections, e.g. WBT, etc. Gira offers various video interfaces for networking DVD players, projectors and other video components. The comprehensive product range also includes HDMI and DVI graphic interfaces which deliver video signals to the screen directly from the wall. Device variants with a TV Sat, mini jack or USB interface are optionally available. As the most reliable solution for Internet access, the RJ 45 connection box is indispensable for any company network, as well as for home use.
Both individual interfaces and combination inserts with a variety of connections are available. Many of the functions are available in three models for various connection types: with solder termination, gender changer or breakout cable.
All interfaces are integrated in the Gira switch ranges. This means both unity of design for the entire electrical installation and a large degree of freedom in selecting colour and frame variants to match any interior. The installation system is based on a plug-in principle, which enables electricians to install all the interfaces quickly, safely and easily. Many of the new inserts have a removable mounting frame which is installed without screws. Because of the separation of function and cover frames, the flush-mounted units can be installed first if desired, while the preferred design can be selected later. This helps prevent hasty decisions and customer dissatisfaction. If a design frame needs to be replaced or removed at a later time, it is just as easy.
