Built at a cost of AED100m ($27.2m), the hotel consists of 80 rooms in different styles, including deluxe, executive, family.

The hotel provides several subtle, and modern settings to address the requirements of travellers looking to explore the city and relax on the sandy beaches. It also features facilities such as swimming pools, a fitness centre, meeting rooms, and a sauna.

Al Waleed Investment Group president Mohammed Abdul Razak Al-Mutawa was quoted by TradeArabia News Service as saying: “The majority of economic sectors suffered from the global repercussions of Covid-19, and the decline in the performance of economic activities like restaurants, tourism, aviation, etc. The circle of challenges widened in the face of governments, turning them to overcome the current crisis and draw mechanisms for returning the system in general to its previous time.”

Al-Mutawa further added: “History bears witness to the merits of the UAE and its wise government in overcoming crises; it is even one of the countries most capable of overcoming the corona pandemic, which our enlightened leadership viewed as a test of its ability to transform challenges into successes, with the transformation into a regional and global centre for medicine and science. And technology, it was the first to launch the slogan ‘Post-Corona’, and today, we began to see this improvement and progress in all business sectors against the background of the plan to reopen markets and support and stimulate the economy.”

Following the opening of this new hotel, the Al Waleed Investment’s portfolio in the hospitality segment has grown to six entities with 500 rooms.

These consist of Park Regis Boutique, Al Waleed Palace in Oud Metha, Lemon Tree on Al Wasl Road, Beach Walk Jumeirah, Downtown Amman Abdali Boulevard Hotel, and Al Waleed Palace in Al Barsha.
